turkey lurkey.

so three hours before june and i were to be reunited with andy at the ranch i got the big idea to copy kristen and allison at lullabylubbock and whip up a little turkey shirt for june's first thanksgiving.
so off to get supplies we went, so glad tootie has a sewing bone in her body because she did it all.
i had plans to be a mother daughter matching duo but had been feeling sick all day and finally just gave up.
so maybe next year. . .

it was super easy and super cheap.
how great is hobby lobby for selling their felt for four sheets for one buck.
practically free!
we grabbed some white tees at target and used embroidary thread that my mom already had and here you go. . . our little turkey in her turkey attire.
so maybe it looks a little like the nbc peacock but oh well.
love her so much!
already working on her shirt for christmas!
