Four Months!

Davis buddy, I'm so sorry your mama is so late
in getting your four months post going!
Our life is busy.
My son, can I just tell you how wonderful you are?
You really are the most well natured little person I have ever met.
I am constantly impressed with your easy going little self.
I am also constantly thanking the Lord for your good attitude,
you are always ready for whatever we have planned for you.
There is not an easier baby in the whole world.
Here's the thing though. . . I would still love you this much even if you were difficult.
You have truly stolen my heart.
I cannot imagine spending a day without you.
You're my big boy!
At four months you weigh 17 pounds.
You are our tall drink of water, for you are long and lean.
I think you are going to be exactly like your daddy in every way.
We all could use another good guy like your daddy,
so we will be excited for you to grow up to be like him.
We sent out your birth announcements and you were a big hit.
We are so proud of you and couldn't wait to show you off!
Our friend Anna of PrettyhandsomeIllustrations made them
for us and we couldn't have been more pleased.
She is our go to girl!
It was so fun to hear from people near and far who were finding you in their mailbox,
everyone said that you were just the cutest thing ever.
I agree. :)

I love you so much Davis Cardwell.
You have forever stolen my heart.

Catch You Up!

Here's some sweet little nothing's that we have been up to around here lately.
Davis and I enjoy our time together in the mothers room at church on Sunday mornings.
It's a rare time that I get alone with my little guy. He's so so sweet!
Doesn't his face look like he's been caught with his hand in the cookie jar?
I'm sure that wont be the last time I see a face like that!
Last week his big sister deduced to put up a strike about her naps. I was losing my mind about it, somehow this little love got a smile at me while we listened to our crazy girl in the room next door, ha! She's back to her normal napping self now.
Thank goodness!
Our little queen had her first career day at Thursday school last week.
She was so proud to be an artist. She dreams big!
Oh my word, I just love her so so much!
We celebrated our friend Jackson's third birthday with some train rides and cupcakes.
Here's Junie and Savannah enjoying their delicious treat!
Sweet girls loving life with a sweet treat in hand
Jackson's mom, my dear friend Laci thought of everything for this cute party, including each kiddo getting their own conductor hat and train whistle before boarding the train.
June is still talking about the real conductor who told us "all aboard" before we jumped on for our ride. She loved it!
We have to take her back to do this again soon!
Stay tuned for our big boys four month update.
Time is flying!

Home Sweethearts!

We spent some time in Abilene a couple weekends ago.
It was of course so nice to bring all my little chickees home for the weekend!
We hit up some major Abilene hot spots... Like the Grace!
And Nikki's for some yummy frozen yogurt!
And Abi-Haus with these two lovely ladies.
Cannot wait for our reunion weekend coming up so soon!
There is something about being at Bapa and Tootie's that brings out the hungry hippo in our Junie.
We laugh at her because within minutes of walking
into my parents house she is asking my mom to make her dinner.
It's ridiculously cute!
This little stud muffin caught a nasty cold while we were visiting,
you would never have known it from this picture though... My sweet happy, go with the flow man.
Goodness, we love him!
Thanks for another great trip home!
The memories will last a lifetime!

Valentine's Day!

I absolutely love Valentine's day! Any excuse to eat chocolate,
go overboard with paper decorations at your house and give gifts all in the name of love is a very good day in my book.
So that's exactly what we did!
Daddy kicked off the celebrations a day early with a special, chocolate delivery...
I have grown to look forward to this doorstep stop every year.
I hope it's something he always wants to do for his girls.
Andy also has made another valentine tradition of tulips and shopping for me!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Right?
I love him and his thoughtfulness.
He is the very best for me.
I am thankful for the way he loves me each day of the year!
Precious got these two cousin cuties matching vday gear, along with some other goodies.
I must say, they were the cutest pair at Thursday school!
Thank you for this festive treat!
As soon as I got my school girl home the real party began!
Davis and I threw together some crepe paper decor and glitter hearts for the arrival of
our little valentine and our big valentine. I couldn't wait to have all of my love bugs home for valentine dinner, gifts and cuddles.
It was a great night, one full of love in our tiny little house with the people I hold closest to my heart.
We just love, love!
The celebrating didn't end there either!
The little munchkins had a love basket full of more goodies from Tootie and Bapa, to tear into when we got to their house too. Goodness, these children are well loved.
Just the best and sweetest life ever.
Thank y'all for loving us!
Hope your valentine's day was sugary sweet too!
Xoxo.

Rodeo season!

We took full advantage of rodeo season this year!
I hope it's a tradition we will always share with our families.
We opened up the rodeo on their first weekend with my parents.
June talked about her night with Bapa and Tootie all day, everyday.
The girl loved every bit of it!
We went back this weekend with Andy's sisters, their kiddos and his parents.
Before meeting up with everyone things got wild!
June was all about the Midway!
She rode the carousel twice and would have gone round and round a dozen
more times if we wouldn't have all been freezing.
This little guy was unbelievable the whole day!
I can't wait until he's big enough to ride right along side his big sister.
A sweet little cowboy and cowgirl they will be!
June was so brave and rode the pony and fed the animals at the petting zoo.
She was close by Andy's side amongst the animals and insisted on him holding her hand for the majority of the pony ride but he wouldn't have had it any other way.
Sweet pair, those two.
Major props to both of our parents for providing the opportunity to
make these memories with our kiddos.
We all had a blast!
See 'ya next year cowboys!

Three Months Old!

Davis turned three months old last week.
Like any typical milestone for your child, three months has happened fast!
I have a feeling his first year of life is going to fly by before we know it.
I love this baby so much. He is the sweetest, happiest little soul there is.
No lie, I think I have heard him cry just a handful of times since he has been born.
Easiest baby ever!
He is becoming more and more expressive everyday.
I imagine him to be pretty goofy when he gets bigger.
I also think he will be tender hearted like his daddy.
At two months he weighed 14 pounds so I am eager to see how much he weighs at his next well check. I think he is going to be a long green bean, again like his daddy.
He's a looker too, like his daddy. :) This kid is seriously cute.
Obviously i am seriously biased but come on... that chin alone just makes me melt like a puddle.
We love everything about you little boy.
Thank you for filling our home with sweet smiles and baby sounds again.
We just can't get enough of you!

Dollface donuts!

I took my little dolls to get some donuts this morning.
After almost an entire week of being stuck in the house due to yucky, yucky noses we had to do something...
anything to beat this cabin fever.
This little bunny was pretty pumped about the pink donut she chose.
Sweetheart!
While this guy snoozed through our entire outing.
Bless him.
So thankful for these little things I am able to do with my babies.
Life is just too sweet!

Can't forget!

Sometimes we actually do use our good camera.
I guess these pictures prove only for birthdays, ha!
Above are two lonely pictures from Andy's 30th birthday. . . wish I had taken more.
Below are bunches and bunches from June's 2nd birthday.
I just can't leave these sweet memories out.
