in the past.

in the past week we have been to ft. worth and back four times.
it has been exhausting to say the least.
we are on a major house hunt and have turned up obviously empty handed. we are so hopeful that our perfect little house is somewhere out there.  we are also so thankful for our VERY sweet and VERY supportive family for scoping out neighborhoods at a moments notice and jumping in the car on a whim.

our move to ft. worth has come about a little sooner than expected since our little family kinda grew a little sooner than expected.  we are so excited.  i am sometimes a lot little freaked out when i think about our to-do list.
2 and a half days of school left.
2 and a half days of work left.
pack and move out of my classroom.
pack up our house.
go to nyc!
close on our house.
go to omaha.
celebrate one year of wedded bliss!
find a new house.
find a new doctor to deliver our little papaya.
move into a new house.
learn to drive in the big city.
get settled.
get a nursery.
have a baby.
i really try to talk myself out of being stressed because the above list is all so wonderful.  i love cleaning things out so packing will honestly be fun.  who couldn't be more excited about three little get-aways? house hunting, while stressful is entertaining to see what people are ok living with and finding a new house is so exciting.  although we really are in love and spoiled rotten with our current little abode. it will be sad to turn over the keys.  decorating is a joy and i have big plans for our little nursery. . . that is if i can get into a house in time.
so therapeutic for me to write all of this down.  because just seeing it all ahead of me helps me know it's totally do-able.  and if not, oh well!
all our baby girl will need is love! we've got plenty of that to share and the new jeffrey three can split time between baby june's grandparents.  it will be nice for the new parents to have some veteran assitance.
we are praising the Lord for this baby girl and for all of these huge transitions!

not really.

a funny thing has been happening to andy and i lately.
you see i am not the most technologically sound girl in the world so operating an iphone is a huge feat for me on most days.  andy's a whiz.
here is the funny thing.
we have been so embarrassed by this but it is really quite hysterical.
our iphones have at least a handful of times pressed the 'like' button on fb all by itself.
we are unaware of our 'like' until we start getting the email notifications informing us of perfect strangers that also 'like' what we 'like'.
it makes for such a good laugh but it really is just so embarrassing!
it might be time to kick it old school again, ditch the iphone that i hate more often than love and make a trip to at&t for a good old flip phone that will never dream of pulling a quick one on us.

goodness gracious.

i never dreamed of spending so much time in lee's summit, missouri.
my parents and i got here last wednesday and we are still here and hopefully will be here until late tomorrow night.
christopher and the wildcats are competing in their regional tournament and we are here to cheer them on.
i am really happy to be here but i miss andy so much.
none of us really planned on being here this long but the rain will not stop!
we are all stir crazy and the boys are ready ready ready to play.
they haven't been able to play for two days.
my mom and i have done a ton of shopping for baby jeffrey, so that's been fun.  we are about 15 miles outside of kansas city.  which who knew is a fabulous town.  we found an outdoor shopping area that rivals la cantera in san antonio and southlake town center.  it has everything a shopaholic could want.  anthropologie, jcrew, forever21, pottery barn, pottery barn kids, gap, babygap and much much more!
we have eaten some really yummy food.  so that's fun.
we have laid around alot and relaxed. so that's been fantastic!
i am getting caught up on some blogging. so that's lucky for you, little reader.
but we are all ready for some baseball.
here's a wrap up of the boys big conference win a couple weeks back.

go wildcats!
on the road to north carolina!
